Job Description: Digital Account Manager
Overview
South Central Media is a third generation marketing and communications company that includes top-rated radio stations and digital marketing services.
The Digital Account Manager is the driving force in expanding our digital marketing sales activities beyond our already existing client base. Our key service offerings include search engine marketing, email marketing, online display advertising, social media and website development. We are looking for an enthusiastic sales professional that is passionate about working with business clients to deliver results oriented digital marketing solutions.
Responsibilities
- Prospect for new business through networking, telemarketing and in person visits with business owners and marketing managers;
- Meet with businesses to demonstrate and sell our digital marketing services through a consultative approach;
- Service accounts during and after the launch of a website project or digital marketing campaign;
- Grow the account base through new business development, repeat and referral business;
- Stay current on industry trends through reading and attendance at industry events.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of digital marketing sales experience;
- Proven success in media and/or marketing sales;
- Team orientation;
- Strong diplomatic and client facing skills;
- Ability to stay motivated and multi-task in a fast paced environment;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Promotions Coordinator – Knoxville
The Promotions Coordinator is responsible for aide in all promotional activities on all SCM Knoxville properties. She/he coordinates those activities in support of the policies, goals, and objectives established by the Promotions & Marketing Director and General Manager. The Promotions Coordinator is a full-time position.
General Responsibilities:
• Always act with the best interests of the company, employees, and communities in mind.

• Effectively communicate and act as a resource to all individuals within the company.
• Share areas of expertise with others in the department.
• Treat co-workers and management with respect and dignity.
• Constantly ask questions to find areas that need improvement in the spirit of creating a culture of continuous improvement.
• Understand all formats and target demographics and listen frequently to all station
• The Promotions Coordinator will report directly to the Promotions & Marketing Director.
Specific Duties as Promotions Coordinator:
• Provide customer service to clients and listeners; represent the stations well when in the public eye; interact well with listeners, clients and co-workers
• Place and return phone calls to listeners with specific contest information; answering their questions enthusiastically
• Attend and work station appearances, events and remotes when needed
• Help plan and coordinate all major events
• Attend weekly group promotions meetings
• Attend weekly one on one with supervisor
• Schedule contest plays through Promo Suite for all 4 radio stations
• Coordinate staff clothing orders.
• Coordinate specialty item orders
• Coordinate and approve all artwork associated with promotional materials – signage, posters, specialty items, etc.
• Work directly with the interactive department for website needs, including designing graphics and writing articles for all station websites
• Help with upkeep of social media sites associated with the radio stations
• Work on Textcaster applications
• Arrange X-Chix appearances
• Orchestrate X-Chix contest, photo shoot, calendar & poster layout and distribution
• Arrange Rock Babe appearances
• Orchestrate Rock Babe contest, photo shoot, calendar & poster layout and distribution
• Arrange Buzzbee appearances
• Act as back-up to the Assistant Promotions Director, fulfilling all of his duties in his absence.
