All proceeds to benefit the Rhonda Shultz Kenner Medical Fund

One of our staff, Rhonda Shultz Kenner, was just diagnosed with ALS Disease - Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis - otherwise known as "Lou Gehrig's Disease." It affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord which eventually leads to paralysis. Unfortunately, there is no cure, and the disease will eventually lead to death...3-5 years is the average life expectancy after a diagnosis. We are trying to raise $30,000 for her medical expenses, as well as some new experimental therapies to extend her quality of life. We are striving to get 3,000 people to donate JUST $10 each.

Rhonda is only 50 years old, born in Sevierville, TN and has been a North Knoxville resident for 25+ years. She has worked for South Central Communications (94.3 the X, WIMZ, B97.5 and Jack-FM) for 15 years, is a member of Sand Branch United Methodist Church and is an active volunteer for several charitable organizations in our community, including serving on the board of Safe Harbor in Sevierville.
