Help for Haiti


Give Haiti Hope - Since 1999, the Haiti Outreach Program (HOP) has worked to improve the lives of the people of Haiti. HOP is a 100% volunteer organization working with Partners In Health (PIH.org) and various churches and business's in Knoxville. Our Knoxville Partner's include Church Street Methodist and ThermoCopy of Knoxville. HOP's efforts have helped provide food, clothing, housing, education, healthcare and more to the people of Boucan Carre, Haiti.

The mission of the Haiti Outreach Programs is: Our Program helps improve the health care, education and economy in the community of Boucan-Carre, Haiti. We provide critical care, as well as long-term tools and resources, which promote ongoing benefits to the people in the area, so that the Haitian people can be self-sufficient in their health and prosperity.

As many of you know there was a tremendous earthquake to hit the island of Haspaniola where Haiti and Dominican Republic are located. It was the largest earthquake in nearly 200 years. The earthquake has the entire country of Haitii reeling with the majority of the country needing supplies to aid in their recovery.

National Charities - With reports suggesting as many as three million people affected by the earthquake in Haiti and as many as 500,000 dead, we all need to do our part to aid in the relief for this small country.

Whitestone Church - Another way to help locally is from Whitestone Church.

The folks at Whitestone Church are taking donation to aid Haiti and planning a trip to aid.

There is a Haiti trip being planned by folks at Whitestone. Money sent for it will go directly to hurting people in Haiti. If people want to give go to WhitestoneChurch.org.....there is a paypal bar.

Designate for "Haiti relief trip" and that money will be used to feed peopleand rebuild homes and get medical attention.
